Event Spaces in The Brewery

James Watt

The James Watt steam engine is one of the most intimate spaces in the Brewery. This self-contained place offers an ideal location for hosting private dining and small meetings or seminars. On-site team aids you to create and manage the occasion along with in-house catering facility. James Watt has integrated PA system, customisable signage and Wi-Fi.

King George III Room

Connected to lower Sugar Room and Queen Charlotte, King George III Room features intimate space with Wi-Fi connectivity, integrated PA system and LED lighting. Barrel vaulted ceiling, period lantern and brickwork imparts a rustic look. It can be used individually or in combination with the Porter Tun. King George III Room can accommodate around 390 guests for an occasion.

Porter Tun Room

Offering an ideal event space for conferences, fashion shows, exhibitions, seminars and receptions, Porter Tun is oldest unobstructed event space in The Brewery. It is well-equipped with LED lighting system, Wi-Fi and cutting-edge sound system. Get direct access to the loading bay or hire this space along with the Malt Room.

Queen Charlotte Room

Exposed brickwork and barrel vaulted ceiling, Queen Charlotte Room is a perfect place to organise dinners, drink reception and meeting for around 200 delegates. It contributes as a major breakout area for the King George III room. Built-in bar, hidden behind a mirrored window when not in use is well-stocked with premium drinks.

Smeatons Vaults

Interconnected but self-contained vaulted rooms are collaboratively called Smeaton Vaults. It features separate reception area and exclusive amenities. The iron walkway along with copper pipes around the wall reveals their brewing past. Additional lighting, projection area and screen can be arranged as per the event requirements. It can accommodate nearly 120 guests for an occasion in reception setting.

Sugar Room

The upper and lower Sugar Rooms are 2 distinctive rooms where brewed sugar was stored in earlier days. Connected through a private staircase, it serves as breakout spaces or as individual meeting rooms for various events. These rooms have elegant Georgian windows, overlooking the beautiful courtyard. It is ideal for hosting a function for gathering of up to 120 guests.
